G.O.C. Parkstad
The Uniformed Meeting Center is a young, enthusiastic group of, for, with and organized by veterans and other (former) uniformed men and their families. You can meet, share experiences with people from similar backgrounds and do meaningful work.
In recent years, GOC-Parkstad has proven itself:
- The GOC has a walk-in facility.
- The GOC organizes volunteers for events in the region.
- The GOC takes care of veterans who find themselves temporarily in trouble.
The GOC cooperates with other organizations that offer courses, education, training and reintegration projects for long-term unemployed veterans and other (former) uniformed personnel.
Everything is done on a voluntary basis, costs are almost always borne by yourself.
Since March 1, 2016, the GOC has its own room, which is made available by the municipality of Kerkrade.
